Tenure with Phigenics
Mike joined Phigenics in 2007 as a member of the Board of Advisors. In 2009, he began his current position as Vice President of Operations.
Mike has over 25 years of construction, engineering and facilities management experience. For most of his career, he served in the Navy Civil Engineer Corps, where he held a variety of leadership and management positions in construction, engineering and facility management organizations.
After the Navy, Mike ran his own consulting and management company before he took a position as a Vice President and minority owner of a construction general contractor doing business with the Federal Government as well as the healthcare industry.
Mike’s positions in the Navy included Public Works Director for the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD; Facilities Program Manager for 21 Atlantic Fleet Bases in Norfolk, VA; Public Works Director for the Naval Station in Rota, Spain; Assistant Public Works Director for the Naval Academy, Executive Officer for a Mobile Construction Battalion deployed to Okinawa, Japan and Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico; Director of Construction for the Naval Hospital in Bethesda, MD; Assistant Director of Construction for the Naval Station on the island of Adak, Alaska; and Damage Control Officer on-board a guided missile frigate home-ported in Mayport, FL. While in the Navy, Mike was a member of the Acquisition Professional Community and was a Warranted Level III Contracting Officer.
